    axle shims help correct driveline angle to reduce or eliminate vibes when a lift is installed - from the rear to the carrier bearing. The shims I am selling are ideal for a 1.5-3” lift. This should be done to correct angles before the carrier bearing drop spacer because the front driveline angle after the carrier bearing (going towards the front of the truck) should not have to change, only the rear angle. This is to get rid of any weird vibes (along with replacing the driver CV needle bearing with an ECGS clamshell bushing- just a must)

    a diff drop just rotates the diff so the CV angles aren’t as bad. Full disclosure, I do not believe a diff drop is necessary on 3rd gens and can in fact be worse in some cases where lubricants no longer sit where they should when the front diff is rotated from the diff drop. After removing it my CV angles are cherry and I have zero vibes.
