I put a new PS pump on the 4.7 this afternoon. Very quiet. The old pump was never this quiet. I'm thinking about pre-running Day 2 of the Ozark Offroad Adventure Trail tomorrow before the hurricane rain sets in. I've got a group coming up from Texas on Labor Day weekend to trail and camp.

 

Doesn't help that the video before this was him talking about his torch missing and having guys who weed in the shop.

 

@Tour991 big box made it. In pieces, BUT it looks like everything there, two uppers, 2 lowers, the links, and 4 coils.


If I get time this weekend I’ll get the struts assembled I have and see if I have eccentrics left laying around to get that frame closer to rolling… needs. Rear axle and some front spindles now.

 

Hmm...got a new fun truck noise.

Getting a metallic 'clink' every time I let on or off the throttle...it's not the slip yoke. Well aware of that sound. This is coming from the front and also happens as I let off the clutch to roll forward. Feels like something in the transmission as I can feel the sound in the shifter when it happens.

Definitely only occurs when the truck moves though so maybe something else.

 

I think I am going to stop using Fedex that is the second box that showed up all fucked up. I had it raped up in shrink rap and packed tight. was the yop hats in there?

 

Maybe the clutch shift fork for the throw out bearing?
