The higher the seat the lower the pedals....the more bend in my knees to the pedals ....the better I feel , it's more comfortable.

Got my truck back from the recall. For the most part, all good. New seal on 3rd brake light and new fuel pump. 1 hang up is the clips and something with my evap system is loose. The only way to fix it is a new fuel cell and swap everything over. So I have to go back and have that done. A bit of a pain but I appreciate them taking care of it for me.

Didn't take any pictures of today's job but had a 05 dodge ram backglass to do. What a bitch. Took me roughly 3hrs to do the whole job. Then came home to a mess the shep decided to destroy my kitchen. Broken glass everywhere.

RE: Seat Jackers -- I raised the front only.

When I got the truck I couldn't drive for more than an hour or so without getting achy and would be constantly shifting around in the seat trying to relieve the pain. There was no support for for my thighs, all my weight seemed to be on my butt bones and heels, my leg muscles were always engaged.

The seat jackers were worth every penny, this spring I drove almost 700 miles in one day, I couldn't have done it without the seat jackers.

They do seem a bit expensive when ordering but the product is beautifully made, OEM quality fit and finish, a non-enthusiast would think they were a Toyota part, you soon forget the cost. Worth every penny. (not a paid promotion ;))

I also got the multi mount panel, it adds a neat finished look and anything secured there would be just about invisible unless the seat was way back.

Can't like that, sorry for the rough day.

What made the Dodge job so difficult?

I'm hoping for a similar experience, the no thigh support is what was getting to me, I'm now excited for a road trip.

I'm sure you will notice a big difference, just sitting in the truck after installing them I could feel the change. I got a set for the wife's side too.

It is funny/sad/odd, my 1997 XJ Cherokee has more comfortable seats than my 20 year newer Toyota. :notsure:

It's a dodge. Just a hard window to cut out.

I have driven across the country with my 2007 Toyota Tacoma several times have not had the same experience.
My personal record for long distance driving was 425 miles nonstop from Bristol Tennessee to Carlisle Pennsylvania on route 81.
I have found the stock seats to be quite satisfactory.
Just my experience. I’m sure others may differ.

My 2017 is the first Toyota I have owned, I can't recollect ever sitting in an older one. It would be interesting to compare the generations.

What strikes me funny is that after decades of ergonomic engineering data collection and seat manufacturer this would be an issue at all for a world wide company.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

Lynn and I played 9 holes of golf yesterday morning and then I decided just to lay around the pool and relax the rest of the day. No rain here until early morning today.

Today I'll put down the linoleum flooring in the stable. Hope to get some more pool time in.

I almost bought the seat jackers before our trip to Bardstown, KY in June, based on comments people have made. 725 miles total driving. We split the drive there in two days but I mde the return trip in one long day. I never felt uncomfortable in the seats. But, we are all different. I wish they made jackers for my '96 BMW Z3. Those seats kill me.

    Be safe out there!

Up and out for the Lansdale Festival of the Arts. We’re setting up my wife’s tent for Melinda’s Glassworks and showing (and hopefully selling) her stained glass. Should be a HOT day.
    She completed this yesterday

She really enjoys taking old, unique sashes and using them as frames.
