    Sub’d. I’m interested in the product. In cold weather (seldom here in CA) my truck will sometimes throw P0012 for the intake cam shaft timing. I’ve read this is related to the oil control valves which is what this solenoid controls correct?

    Figure if have to go in there and check the OCVs, I might as well look into these. I have the cam gears installed for the exhaust side.

    Latest fuel economy indications with mixed driving and some instances of heavy stop and go indicates an MPG of 17.7. :woot:

    I don’t have it that bad yet thankfully still does about the same miles per tank ( I don’t figure fuel econ) and it’s only under certain circumstances that it’ll do it , mine is from slower speeds 10-20mph then quickly roll on throttle 3/4 or more.

    I used to have some other very specific ones but haven’t had them in a long time mainly just this one

    I had that issue as well sometimes. Part of me really thinks that Toyota skimps on the costs of making solid quality parts from the factory just for them to last slightly longer that the warranty period in order to sell you replacement stuff later.
