I see on Gaia there’s some trails and shit out eat off of Lockwood exit from 80. Think me and some buddy’s are good to go explore in my stock truck w all terrains? We know how to stack rocks and dig, have a compressor if needed. Just want to explore. Don’t want nothing hairy

 

Assuming you mean heading up past the landfill, you are good stock... its a rocky bitch up there though. Like bumpy rocky...not rock crawler rocky... you can follow that road up to lousetown and come out near virginia city.

I did this starting from the south. It was rocky yes, but still cool to just check out. Woulda been sick if it wasn’t so smoky.


Definitely cleared up compared to early on this week though.

 

Ended up just running up the hills west of town. Stars above us at 7,000ft but you could see all the smoke in the Truckee meadows.
