There's something else at play. The 11 and 4 were hands down the class of the field last season and are both there but not really factors at the end of the races this season.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
They banned the 4’s convertible rear window and collapsible rear roof section. LOL…

    Let's Go!!!

The 200-mph lap was not a new phenomenon in 1987. Qualifying speeds in the three previous years had topped that magical plateau. But it was an especially eye-popping number when Bill Elliott broke NASCAR's all-time qualifying record at 210.364 mph. Elliott backed up his qualifying effort with his second Daytona 500 win, and went on to best that record at Talladega in the spring with a stunning 212.809 mph lap. Horsepower-sapping carburetor restrictor plates slowed qualifying speeds the following year at the Great American Race, and Elliott's 1987 lap still stands as the Daytona track record

I forgot about that. Unfortunately I have to work. I guess it isn't a huge loss as I'm not the biggest fan of racing at Daytona or Talladega.

I am sure it will look awesome running around with his teammates half a lap back of the field until 20 to go.

Like the car. Like the owner. Dont like the driver. He’s plenty capable just not a fan.

Maybe that’ll get them a driver not riding around in the middle of the pack every week.

Michael Jordan even said, he doesn't write checks to losers. If Kurt wins a race or 2 next year and bubba is still doing bubba, he'll be gone.
