I’m probably going to jump in on the full pan, but I’m interested in seeing the design for the removable bottom before I get on the list

 

I'm somewhat interested, but not sure the juice is worth the squeeze for my driving habits.

 

I might be interested in the spacer kit but seems like people are more into the full pan. Having the baffle is a huge plus over stock but don't really need the increase in capacity. I don't know. Lots of other mods for that cash.

 

I'd be interested for a baffled pan too seeing as how I like to go around corners at a brisk speed.

 

I really do want the whole pan, but I agree with others it’s a lotta $$$ for a pan.

I'm not complaining of his pricing btw. I'm just poor and working on replacing other parts like the header and y pipe at the moment. May reconsider if the timing is right

 

I agree. It's definitely not cheap to manufacture something like that. Just with everything else in life, gotta balance what mods you are gonna spend your hard earned coin on.

 

I just picked up the spacer kit with baffle a couple weeks ago! He even ships it with OEM gasket maker.

 

Can anyone here suggest some aftermarket Radiator and fan combos that would work well in Phoenix.. The previous owner put some rinky dink system on incorrectly and now I am having overheating problems. The A/C system is getting overcharged and releasing pressure because the current fan can't keep up.

If you’re the type of guy to spend a few hundred on an oil pan spacer, then the Ron Davis radiator and fan setup might be up your alley.

I run a Mishimoto efan and radiator on my M3 here in CO. I think people have said in this thread somewhere they have it for the taco too. A thing to consider, which I have to do on my m3, is that while it will keep fluid Temps down, under hood temp will increase. So then hood vents will be needed to really help

 

x2 for Ron Davis, it's the way. "Get what you pay for" kinda thing. Other options are a mixed bag. CBR is another route. Budget (and what i run) is CSF but can be hit and miss with them for fitment.

Have you done a flush and make sure you're running right?

 

Mines been flawless. It’s difficult to justify the expense, as mine was a first and custom for my FJ. However it’s been absolutely fantastic having electric fans, he fit the largest tranny cooler in there that he could, and the amount of space for supercharger belt access is amazing!!

 

Yeah I did a flush last year. I spent some time on it yesterday. The fan controller isn’t triggering the fan to come on. Got all the way up to 191 and nothing. There’s a dial too and whenever I would turn it all the way in the other direction the engine would sound like it was being put under load, but the fan doesn’t turn on. Pretty sure I just need a new controller. Gonna replace it all though. With either a CSF and fans or something through Ron Davis.
