I finally got my training wheels off after 5 1/2 years. I just finished my lift with new wheels and tires! I couldn't have done all this without first my wife lol, and then to everyone in this forum! A big thanks to everyone and this community! I ended up going with the bilsteins 5100s with a 1 inch block in the back to keep the slight rake. I was going to get the ko2's in 275 70 17 but they weighed around 6lbs more per tire than the larger 285 70 17s, so I went with the latter. I had to go with a cab mount chop as everyone already knows, but it was completely worth it. The company I went with is in OKC and they did a great job with all the cutting and they welded on a plate after chopping the cab up a bit to give it a more finished look. I couldn't be happier. I also waited around 3½ months to get the exact wheels I wanted, which were the SCS BR6 Gunmetal in a 17x9 -10offest. Ridiculous to have to keep checking their Instagram to see when they would post their inventory, especially when I dropped all my social media accounts roughly 10 years ago. Anyway,
I wanted the wheels to sit just a bit outside the fender and to me, it all fits perfectly. I also got around 3 inches of lift with the tires and bilsteins. I didn't have to go with a new UCA yet or a regear. Maybe something I'll consider down the line, but everything runs and looks as it should.

Just installed our new 285/70R17 tires (Milestar Mud Terrains) on our Method Race 17" 305 NV Bronze rims. 2,400 miles on the truck.
We are still waiting for the Fox 2.5 front suspension components to arrive. So we are currently running these 285/70's with no lift.
My son and I did the Cab Mount Chop (CMC) and pinch-weld fold earlier in the day. Currently, the only rubbing is when turning the wheels in reverse.

New shoes waiting to be installed (the wife was away in Cabo San Lucas when the goodies started showing up ... it was like Xmas).

Testing the bigger tires with the fresh CMC.

    Going on a test drive.

Sick, are you running a CMC? I'm not sure to use 285/70/17 or 275/70/17. I'm on a TRD Lift Kit 2" front and 1" rear. Using a 17x8.5 -10 wheel.

Those Ray 10s look absolutely god awful on your truck, you should sell them to me before anyone ridicules you for having them.
