Why am I gapping???

Lmaoooo cannot believe that some people are looking this closely for problems.

 

I get a kick out of these threads. Someone says there is a serious imperfection in their truck, posts a picture, asks if it is covered by warranty, and then I stare at the picture for good 30s trying to figure where the problem is. It's like those games where they show you a picture and ask you to find something out of place.

 

I was seriously expecting a twin turbo Tacoma with slicks serving the full menu at Gapplebee's to rice boys, thus I am thoroughly disappointed.

 

One of these days I'm going start one of these threads by posting a picture of a perfectly aligned bumper, claim there is a serious imperfection, and then watch as people suggest ways to fix it.

 

It's noticeable between the hood and headlight, bigger gap on one side. I'm hoping just need to adjust the rubber stopper, will give it a try later today.

 

Are boys still gapping?

 

Damn my bumper gaps are way worse than the first post, changing the radiator bushing definitely made it worse. Also do NOT look at the side gaps of my hood ha

 

Yours looks just like mine. Passenger side has larger gap and driver barely noticeable

 

Now if you look closely at the rear of your hood, you will probably notice that the passenger side corner is about 1/16 inch lower than the driver side. This is common with almost all Sports. After three years and a heart attack, I hardly notice it anymore on my truck.

 

Why is there a strike or line through the OPs name? How can I get that?

 

I have no idea what that strike line is for but I thought it was bc they are banned?

I know this is an old thread, but I was able to get my fender gap fixed at Findlay Toyota, they came up with a fix.

 

I couldn't live with it any longer. So I whacked it off all together.

Did you ask the techs what they did?

 

My passenger side has the exact gap....most at top closest to hood...I took bumper lose to install alpharex headlights and tried adjust the clip inside...it didn't help!

 

did they mention how they fixed it?
