Wow that view is awesome comparing to the cloudy day I went up. Yeah it blows my mind I went up there after the big snow storm this year. Was about a mile and a half away from the top there. Without seeing those pot holes I was bouncing like a damn Cadillac with hydraulics with trying to keep good momentum lol…

Muffler King in Kirkland, ask to talk to Jorge. If I remember correctly he charges like $200 to do an exhaust reroute.

If you havent found one yet try calling your local NAPA. Or a West Marine if you have one close. They used to be able to crimp cables. Could also try a welding supply shop too

    Hey everyone,

Brand new taco owner here, located in Seattle. Looking forward to connecting with you all in person.

Just picked up my Army Green taco a few weeks ago and have been slowly building it up. So far I've got upgraded the wheels, tires, grill, and added rocksliders. The 275/70/17 Falcan Wildpeaks on the 17' TRD wheels rub a little when turning hard, so I'm looking to lift the truck 2" in the front and 1.5" in the back.

I'm totally mechanically inexperianced and only have a set of ratchet wrenchs but love learning.

Anyone interested in helping me lift my truck? I have the 5100 Bilsteins and just ordered the Icon Leafs for the back with Sumo Springs. Just need a set of hands with experience doing this, as well as some better tools.

Any DIY garages in the Seattle area?

PS just got it tuned with the KDmax tune and wow, knight and day....

They work great after the rebuild. My girlfriend loves them and I was happy to get her off spacers

X1 million on this. I got the buy a M18 12.0 battery deal at northern tool, where you get a 3/8 M18 fuel impact for free a few weeks ago. Sold the impact for $180 then the battery only cost me $65.

You let me know and I'll tell you where the deals are. Sometimes they're up, and then they're gone. Some places sell out quick because of the SD effect. Once places go on back order they tend to start canceling orders

My kid was out weed wacking today and drained all the damn batteries except the 12.0. While they were all charging up I had to use the 12.0 on my 3/8 impact pulling the transmission out of my 96’. I thought my god damn arm was going to fall off after just getting the drivelines off. Bell housing was a little rough. 03290FB1-5937-4600-AB57-76261EFA9A65.jpg

Howdy fellas, long time no see.

Got a question y'all: I have Icons (2.5 front, 2.0 rear, non-res) that have about 60k miles on them. The rears are good, but the fronts need a rebuild (one is weeping, the other has a cracked spring). I don't have time to deal with removing and sending stuff out and don't want to deal with rebuilding them myself, so I just ordered new suspension (trying out the new Toytec stuff made by Elka). What's a fair asking price for my Icons?

Hey welcome. For DIY garages check out Stew's garage in Kirkland. Additionally, if you're going to be buying tires/parts or getting stuff done to the truck you might look up Avants.com (or Avants - drive everything on facebook). It's a paid membership that myself and some others in this forum are members of. In addition to private track days and off road events you get partner discounts from Stew's garage, Mule, auburn off-road and other places.

Lastly, just want to make sure you know those are really glorified side steps instead of rocksliders; would avoid hitting rocks or trees with those anytime soon.
