@svermilyea I read you have the OEM Audio+ sub installed with this HU. I found a used one with the wire harness. Do I need anything else or is straight forward install?

As long as the wiring harness is for a 3rd gen and the harness is complete, the install is very easy. Taking your time it will be less than 2-3 hours. Just follow the OEM audio video on their website.

The harness plugs into the tacoma harness and the Maestro harness plugs in to the OEM Audio plus harness.

Can someone smarter than me please explain why I need to first establish a Bluetooth connection to set up a wifi connection to run android auto, then I have to create a mobile hotspot on my phone, then connect my head unit to that network (even though the phone and head unit are already connected) to be able to use Alexa? My phone battery cries at this situation.

I need guidance, i've read the 6600 9" screen will fit the premium/jbl bezels just fine. I've got the 2020 standard Audio 8" radio, would my bezel need to be modified?

Hey guys …. I currently have an AVIC 8500 …. Will the harness just plug right in? I really don’t want to rewire everything again with the maestro and camera and what not. I know other Headunits interchange with the 8500 but not sure if these do. Thanks in advance

No modification necessary. The premium bezel will fit the 6600 perfectly.

If you had a WC6600, the pioneers harness (before the maestro harness) is exactly the same. You will have to reprogram your maestro unit for the new headunit.

Yes, the standard bezel will need to be modified. If I recall correctly that’s what the OP did. You can buy a premium bezel though if you don’t want to modify your current one.

ahhh, 2020 SR Package 7" radio & Audio(8") shares the same bezel?
2020 Audio- AVN & JBL packages shares the same bezel

    Audio-AVN & JBL packages = Premium bezel
if I got this right, Premium bezels are Black w/orange or silver or gun metal
SR 7" and Audio uses the Matte Black bezel

"sigh" I find it ridiculously confusing, entune, entune+, audio, audio-AVN, Premium, jbl(not so ridiculous) lol

This didn't work either. Called crutchfield and he couldn't figure it out either. The adjustment buttons weren't there. Clicked the UTC until the time lined up. Still says February 21st. So frustrating but at least the time is right.

Just discovered my USB-c to USB 3.0 adapter was broke. What are you guys using for a 90 degree adapter? I know there’s one linked in this thread but I don’t feel like scrolling 80+ pages so I’m hoping someone has a link handy.
