    [IMG]Hello Tacoma World.

I live in Pennsylvania but I am currently in the sandbox (soon to be back). I am in the works of getting a 2011 Tacoma DC 4x4 V6. I have been trolling this forum for a little while now trying to get reviews and see common problems with the vehicle. Likes/dislikes, etc etc.

I figured it was time to finally make an introduction thread. I've had my eye on the Tacoma's and Tundra's for awhile but finally set my mind on the Tacoma (Black of course).

Well feel free to toss up your ideas and ask questions. I am excited to make the purchase and hopefully it won't take long to ship to a dealership near me.

Thanks. I'm in the Carlisle area (outside Harrisburg). I wasn't planning on purchasing a brand new vehicle but the incentives and discounts I obtained through my bank/insurance made it worth it. It was like buying an 07-08 model, lol.

Nice, its always great to get a good deal, and to have a warranty for awhile. Such a great feeling driveing home a new ride! You can find pretty much anything you want to know about our trucks on this site also. Of course this sight has also hurt my wallet a little. I'm sure more in the future. You see all kind oif shit you want on here!

    Thanks.
Yeah, i'm not worried about warranties. Bought a brand new car in 06, took it to the drag strip while grenading the open diff and the dealership decided to let me know that the warranty was removed. Hahaha. I have been worry free about warranties since that point.

This site has definitely helped me out in regards to picking my options. It is just so much more organized and questions get educated responses unlike some other forum I visited for a short while.

No need to thank me at all. I'm over here as a civilian. No longer in the military. Thank you though.

 I hope you weren't referring the tacoma as being a money pit!???
Being a Money Pit = Repairs.
Modifications & upgrades don't count as being part of a money pit. ;);)
Atleast, that's my oppinion anyway. :D

Gee...and I know exactly which one is the money pit!! Nice vehicles!

Hahaha, thanks. It's a fun car but I rarely drive it. I think I hit 25k on it right before I left. More goodies for it waiting to be installed when I get back. ;)

Welcome to the site, it's a very helpful tool when your new to Tacomas. Nice Acura btw. I'm kind of out of my tuner phase, had an 07 tC that i had a few grand invested in. Changing to the Tacoma was the best thing I ever did! Good luck with your purchase.

I definitely dig the TC's. I don't see me ever getting rid of the RSX. The Jeep on the other hand was going to be kept as a backup backup but I might just sell it on the cheap to someone local.

Yeah, once you get into a Tacoma you won't need the jeep lol these things are crazy reliable. I would probably still have my tC now too, but I'm a college student and I'm at that crappy point in life where your so close to be doing what you wanna do with your money and stuff but yet it's still out of reach lol. I can only afford one vehicle at a time for now. Can't even afford mods for this thing really.
I gotta get a pic of the old tC up here when I get a chance, I got one on my old laptop. It didn't look anywhere near as good as your whip, but it was really clean black with tinted windows, Chrome TSW Nogaros, CAI, exhaust, system. Just got tired of taking care of it in this crazy New England weather and could use the utility of the pickup for odd-jobs.
