I have tried to make all the research I can, but nothing has worked.

First I verified the fuses with test light and a voltimeter, the relay was also good, when I connect the “hot connector” of the relay with the other ones the horn sounds so I do have current at the front fuse box as well.

Then when I verified the steering wheel, the horn does not sound either by directly grounding the “green and red cable” nor by making the “brown” ground cable make contact.

This leads me to think the clock soring its GOOD, and that the problem may be between the green and red cable to the fuse box(relay).

What I do not know is how to aproach the situation. Where do these cables run into? How? I cannot follow them because they are deep into the dash.
Does someone had this situation before? What did you do?

The R/G wire only serves as a path to Ground for the relay.
It plugs in to the Spiral Cable.
Pressing the horn, grounds the control side of the horn relay.

Unplug the G/R wire from the spiral cable.
Then check the pin -On the SPIRAL CABLE CONNECTOR- for continuity to Ground WHEN PRESSING THE HORN. (the pin that the G/R wire went to)

Again, you are not check the R/G wire. You are checking the spiral cable.

Thanks to both, this e planation helped me a lot. Actually it was the clock spring. Turn out that when I was testing the green and red cable I was using the “test light” instrument as the ground connection, but that wasn’t working. After using a different cable to connect to ground, it honked, so indeed it was the clock spg.
