Trucks still sitting in the driveway. We have to finish up some stuff still.
    Rear:
    Resi Brackets, brake lines

    Front:
Fix alignment tabs. Since fixing the spindles now the camber is way off the other way. So, thinking fix alignment tabs to get an actual alignment then tack weld it to hold.
Especially since after the trip in a few weeks its all getting cut.

I only helped on the rear once the front was done. From what Snowsk8air showed and explained to me. Since I still dont fully understand.
Bump is set perfect and the springs are my limiting factors in the rear, which pull the shocks to the full 12inches.
But being that the trucks heavy AF right now. Up travel is limited to about 4inches.
    :(

From what I’ve heard… 4 inches is the US average, especially within the sub category of SOA tacomas… but hey, there are prolly guys out there with even less than that?

He definitely earned it last weekend. Gonna bandaid him up as best I can so he can make a trip in a few weeks and then take it easy until the rest of his JD parts arrive for a full front end redo

Going to gusset the motor mounts at the same time? I would be a little nervous about them holding up with solid mounts.

They bolt in the stock location replacing the OE ones no welding required.
They aren't really solid, poor use of terms he uses a urethane bushing you can get anywhere made for ID of tubing.

Depending on if you had frame replaced or not, there is some gusseting you can get forget who makes it but the new frames from the replacement program don't have that issue like the original ones. Wouldn't be a half bad idea to add some more support though.

No, I’m not going to gusset them. I have the updated frame which addressed the weak mounts. The guy who sells the “solid” mounts has sold a whole bunch and no issues with frame strength reported back.

I will eventually but this rack and tie rods and engine mount has sucked up enough funds for now
