    Hey Coupe...
Is that red anodized or just powder coated?
I have one of yours in gloss black, but if you can get one to match the blue of my ARB compressors, I'll take one.

    It is powdercoated.

Anodising is hard to match exactly. The color varies a little with each batch.

I might be able to get close with powdercoating, but it will not be a perfect match.

Close is good enough for me. BLACK TRD letters.
Let me know via PM when/ where I can send you cash.
Here is an honest plug for you guys out there... this part is spot on. Truly keeps the battery tight, it's adjustable for your battery size and enhances the looks of your engine compartment.

You can slip off the blue heatsinks and powder coat them red, if that helps. I did a set bronze at work.

Just finished the new ARB blue battery hold down.
As always, nice fit and finish.

    Thanks Coupe.

Got my hold-down from Coupe the other day - Black with red lettering. This is really a super nice piece and well worth adding to your truck in my opinion.
Whenever you replace a battery, it seems like it is not the exact same size as the one you took out - even if they are the same category, 24F, etc.
That was the case with my recent replacement. My OE battery started leaking/gassing at only one year and 6500 miles. I know I could have tried going to the dealer 45 miles away and probably gotten a replacement under warranty. I considered that - and also considered that they may just "clean" up the battery and terminals (positive terminal was already getting green and "fuzzy") and try to send me on my way. Even if they replaced the battery, I thought I might have the same problem again (and might not) a short time down the road. So.........I decided it was time for an upgrade.
I have a few parts stores in my city. Went to Oreilly's first for a direct-fit AGM and turns out, it is not a direct fit according to my OE battery hold-down. The battery was too tall. OE clamp won't work. Took it back, got a similar AGM from Advance. Guess what, this one is a little shorter than the original battery and the top is not as wide at the clamping section. I added some 1/8 rubber strips to the clamping area of the OE hold-down to get me by until I found a better solution.

Coupe's hold-down IS a better solution. This clamp allows you some flexibility in battery height and width. If you get the narrow version, it will allow you to run it on a non-sealed or sealed battery. Not to mention it just looks AWESOME, too. Seems to be a well-engineered part. Hardware is nice, too. Cupped washers have rubber backings to help keep everything in place and help prevent marring of the finish of the hold-down. If black hardware was an option, I would have gone with that but there are other bright finish fasteners in the engine bay so it doesn't look out of place. My j-bolts are a little long (probably because my battery is shorter), but I don't want to cut them to give rust a place to start. I also don't like acorn nuts (to cover a cut bolt), so it'll be as-is, which is totally fine. If stainless j-bolts were an option, I'd be all over that. That seems like overkill though by most, I'm sure.

I liked this part so much that I got a couple extra from him in different colors. I'll plan to throw one in my 15 Taco when the time comes and I'll keep the other as a spare for now. I like it that much.

Thanks Coupe for an awesome part.

    Looks nice and clean.
    Suggestion:
Cut down the remaining all-thread, remove the ny-lock nuts and replace with a stainless acorn nuts.
Eliminates possible laceration effectiveness while cleaning.
