Yup that’s what it definitely is. Need to also ensure the mattress is deflated the right amount.

Same here. My door got messed up from it moving around. Has to bend it back. Only so many times you can do that to aluminum

I thought of that but in my case it's not that. It is always is slightly off to the left. Only in that direction and no matter how well the tent is tucked.

Aha! I was putting the outer poles down before connecting the top poles. Also not pulling the top poles out first. Easy when you know how. Thanks.

Now that I think of it. I remember speaking to @sbly recently at a local meet up and he had a similar issue and all SP did was adjust it. Mine only does it when I don’t have the mattress aired down and the sleeping bags aren’t flat.

Is it the door with the Expedition Essentials Maxtrax mounts and Maxtrax or the door without it?

As Synergy said, the top of our X1 would drift slightly to the passenger side when we close it. So when we stopped by Super Pacific they took their tactical 2x4 and gently pushed it back to the driver side. It's been about 4 months since we had it "fixed" and unfortunately it's already back to slightly offset to passenger.

It could be the struts are not placed evenly. I had to replace one and one is slight off. I’ll have to see if it drifts but if not even that could happen.

    nudavinci64,

As for the floor inserts, I have been talking to Spencer for awhile now about a floor panel with holes in it so I can benefit from running a heater down below. Another benefit to the holes would be that it should be easier to pick up the panel at night when you have items (phones, iPad, flashlight, keys...) placed on it.

While waiting for Spencer, I made a replacement drive side panel out of 1/2" plywood and a yoga mat. It has a handle cutout which allows for easy lifting while laying in bed, and also keeps your items from sliding around when you are lifting the panel.

I took a hole saw to my panels. Didn’t help much with the vacuum effect so I just keep one panel in there to keep the tent up.

That def would be more the direction to go. Behind it I have similar but work not perfect. Needs a more custom fit which is not u overall between taco gens.

I stuck some extra bulb seal on corners and in gaps for my truck, and added silicone in other areas where it seemed like dust could get in or under. It looks a bit ghetto but does an ok job of sealing. I do get some dust inside but not bad considering how choking the dust gets on a lot of roads. It seems like a lot of the dust inside could come from having the side and back open in camp rather from driving.

You can see a bit of extra seal sticking up through the gap here.

Can someone help me out with understanding roof rack fit with the Super Pacific X1? I'm a long ways from install but would like to get a rack now. I know half of it will become borderline unusable once the camper goes on (right? or have you found use for that tiny space under the overhang?), but that doesn't really bother me and I think having a full rack will ultimately look better than a half rack with a void under the overhang anyway.

My real concern is the fit. I was looking at the upTOP Bravo which they say adds 2.5" height. The Super Pacific website says the overhang is 22.75" above the bed rails of a Gen 3 Taco. Other measurements I've seen put the roof at 20" above the rails. So 22.5 is awfully close to 22.75.

Rather than play with close measurements I thought I'd come to those of you with it already installed. What rack are you running under the overhang? Any fitment issues?

I just picked up the 3 camera version of this. What was the process like running the wire through the 3rd brake light?
