Had some down time. Have everything completed for the incoming RLD Canopy, so had an open day. Decided to pull out the black emblems I bought about a year ago and throw them on.

I WOULD NOT do that again. I'd leave them chrome or do overlays. Not sure what was going on with the adhesives on the factory badges, but that shit was epic. Maybe a week in Vegas when the truck was parked outside in the sun in the 115 plus degree heat? Don't know. But that was some serious military grade, secret squirrel level adhesive shit going on there. What I thought would be a 1/2 hour job, turned into almost 2 hours. Fishing line, heat gun, a bottle of adhesive remover, thumbnails worn down to the nub, and a destroyed credit card later, and I got the old adhesive off and new emblems on. Fucknuts...that was way more than I thought it would be. Pleased with final product, but would not do that again.

OEM roof rack, install was fairly simple, and took 45 mins to install both sides. Got some 265/70/17 KO2’s and a 2”/1” lift getting installed this Thursday or Friday. :D

I did OEM overlays due to knowing that the factory chrome emblems are stuck on there so well. I figured that the aftermarket ones would not be as strong.

All thirty minute jobs turn into two hours. Even if it is truly 30 minutes you will find some small items to fix or improve along the way that will turn it into 2 hours.

    A/C drain mod, little project…
Turned down some 6061 on the lathe to join the drain with some tubing. Routed down behind the rear apron.Drips straight down. 92DCBE1B-ECB1-4C19-BC1E-6B1E9C9AD48A.jpg

So two of my shops had nitrogen machines. The filters cost (at the time) $350.00. They lasted about 45 days if I remember. Every time I asked the boss to replace the filters, he told me to go fuck myself. Our typical nitrogen install was about 48% nitrogen. This would do nothing for the common man's truck or car, and was as profitable to the shop as a alignment machine. The argument is based on science but reality says it's the shop foreman looking to save money. Smoke and mirrors.
Simple tire maintenance will solve this problem.
Save your money and buy one of those gas cap hanger thingy's so it won't hang down the side of your truck.

Installed URD Power Extractor Pipes and flashed the tune. Butt Dino thinks it opened up past 4000rpm and the sound with stock exhaust is just right.
