If you got factory tailgate cover trimming side will give you clearance . I actually got the kb voodoo one and it clears . Once you trim and guide cable it will clear on it's own. Cable will keep its shape.Thers a minor nick on cable housing but doesnt harm cable . Going on 2 years
A better solution was from @Crom. I added end one on pass. side cause made mine into a spoiler . Was going mount Camara but ... added like a 1/4 in plate on top so heavy as fck lol.

I've got one, and the damage didn't not come from rubbing on the tailgate skin. It was damaged from being pinched between the truck and the newly installed piston. I may remove one cable, or just keep replacing them. Cheap replacement part

I kept losing the stick on weights, and felt like I had to rebalance my tires each time I did a rotation, so today i had the stick on weights removed from my wheels, and added the dynabead balancing beads. So far smooth as butter at all speeds.

Just made a nice light removable side table for my rear cap side door. I made it out of some leftover aluminum I had. It is braced and the wires run right to my homemade cap rack. This thing will hold about 70 lbs (not that I will be putting that much on there.) It comes on and off in about 10 seconds.

My 2013 with 155k has been running a little hot recently. This was going 75 on the interstate, it stayed here maybe a minute or two before going back to the halfway mark.

A couple years ago the gauge also hit about 3/4 while moving slowly on a high mountain pass in 4wd too.

I had a radiator flush around 100k. Should I consider replacing the thermostat?

Finally got the RCI sliders on. Would’ve finished faster, but I forgot about the front cross member plates until I finished everything else….

Also painted by yours truly. I went with flat black rattle can.

    Why not?
I will be replacing my Tstat, WP, and coolant because it is quick, cheap, and easy.
Replacing them will rule them out as potential causes.

Replaced the pvc valve. Found I didn’t have a 19mm deep in 6 point, only 12 point which kept slipping trying to remove it. So this is what I used. My long 1/2 ratchet, a reducer, 2 long extensions, and a 19mm crowns foot. It wasn’t what I would call tight, it was stuck. As soon as it started to turn, it came out easy. In with the new one with a tiny bit of anti seize.

Also replaced the serpentine belt. The old one was cracking on the ribs. Once it was out I could see it’s dried out and the seam is beginning to separate. I also gave everything the belt touches a spin. I’ve had a cold start squeaking so I’m guessing belt issue or one of the pulleys. The only one questionable is the tensioner. Water pump, ac, alternator, ps pump, idlers all felt good. No wobble, notchiness, no squeak.

I've been noticing a few tensioner related problems coming up with people here lately. Maybe it's because I had to replace mine and it's on my radar.

Installed a Blue Sea 12 ckt power tray & accessories I got from @Mr.PowerTrays . Very straight forward & easy install other than a few awkward wrench angles bolting the tray to the frame. Gona add another small fuse block & blue sea below deck panel in the bed for power & lighting once I decide on a good route to get the wire back there. DA0105A4-D1A7-4CCE-AA93-EE68B109D3A4.jpg

Put in some Morimoto headlights today. They totally change the look of the truck coming from the stock lights.
