    Good Morning Folks :hattip:

Storms came through last night. Weather radio went off around 2am. Flash flood warning. Couldn't get back to sleep, in bed. So I Slept in the recliner for the rest of the night.

    Glad your feeling better.
Now, get out of the house and come over and cut my grass.:D

I GOT TO HAVE A CAMPFIRE LAST NIGHT!!!!! :yay:
with all the rain and slightly cooler temps they've been dropping some fire restrictions out here. some areas are going from stage 2 to stage 1 and others are going from 2 to nothing.
and, even though it was colder than heck, I stayed out to stargaze. Been so damn smokey all summer I haven't really had a chance to do that. So I stayed out until the fire burned down and my lower extremities were frozen. saw some shooting stars / meteors - maybe the end of the Perseids? And I think maybe a starlink chain too.
took a LONG time to warm up and get to sleep. only to be woken up at 1am by the winds. i was out in the open, no trees or anything, and the winds were hitting me on the side, the whole camper was rocking. thought i was going to be seasick. probably shoulda got up and put the jacks down to help stabilize things but I didn't want to get cold again or drain the batteries as I knew the heater would be kicking on shortly and frequently.
home now. gotta do laundry and mop the floor in the camper.
also on the to do list this week is to fix my medicine cabinet and closet storage in the camper. the med cab has a metal latch and heavy-duty velcro as a backup to keep the door closed. doesn't work. everything on the bathroom floor. again. thinking of just drilling some small holes on the sides of the cab and run some bungee cord type stuff across the width of the shelves to keep things in place if the door comes open. and my closet storge is getting annoying. i have one of those cloth shoe storage shelf things in there as hanging storage alone doesn't do the job. But the cloth shelf thing sways when i drive and everything ends up dumped onthe floor of the closet. gotta engineer a way to make it stop swaying.

Evening everyone, thunderstorms blew through, hopefully it will cool down. Keeping watching that hurricane, keep on your toes if it’s heading you’re way. Sounds like @MTgirl had a decent camping weekend, bonus campfire.

Evening everybody. Ida has been pretty easy on us so far. Only light rains so far with lots dry time between showers. No flooding but they still have us under flash flood warnings and keep saying heavy rain is coming.

I’ve talked to some friends in Mississippi and Louisiana it’s pretty bad over there. Going to be a long night for them.
