It's compact and tight to the roofline, which I wanted. Also it has a small footprint on the fender.

Yeah, I must make too much money. Lol. Seriously, 20 yrs ago....no way. But I've made my way up the ladder and want to enjoy life more. Can't take it with me so....
Also, remember times when I daydreamed about stuff I wanted to do if I only had cash...But I pay it forward. Karma!

Huh. It wasn't on the site when the email was sent. Interesting. And way too far out of my price range.

Unfortunately it left him paralyzed on his whole left side. He's now wheelchair bound and needs assisted living, thus the nursing facility. We've been trying to get "in-home" care for 6-8 hours a day, but no caregivers want to go to Fort Valley to work. We're moving him to a nearby nursing facility in Strasburg tho this Wednesday.
He wants to come home SO much, but mom, nor any of us, can lift him from bed to wheelchair to commode to wheelchair to shower, etc. Plus we are helping take care of their 25 acres up there, as well as our own jobs, families, and homes. It's sad for him and stressful on the family.

I don't know how many people are actually interested in bus facts, but driving the bus is hella fun so I wanted to share. I figure everyone is somewhat mechanically inclined, so they may be interesting

-the main interesting thing is that a 60' articulated bus actually has the exact same turning radius as a 40' straight bus, which makes them actually a lot easier than one might think to weasel around cubs, roundabouts, cul de sacs, etc. I find the 60' actually easier than a 40' to get through tight cul de sacs because the front wheel base is shorter so they follow curbs better

-an articulated bus's only drive axle is the rear axle of the trailer. it is quite literally the front half of a 35 pusher bus attached to the back half of another 35 bus. This also makes it not a combination vehicle, since the front is useless without the rear and they don't separate so only need a class B CDL. (Class B is single unit 26k+ and towed up to 10K, whereas Class A is single unit 26k+ and towed greater than 10K)

-they are slow. 0-60 time is literally close to 45 seconds. Some routes need some hwy time in the morning to get to route start, and I literally have to merge going 35-40 after the longest acceleration Lanes of anywhere I know lol

Absolutely, thanks! Due to the recent 15% drill we just did, I am waiting on the results of a GSR to see if I can stick around for the next (last) rank. Regardless, we'll be back in VA in about two years...

I had my bus license in the military. I don't know how big the bus is that they use is. Bluebird 40 person is all I know. It was fun to drive and having that license got me out of a ton of BS duties.

Nice, all busses are cool. I always liked the busses at school, but I never realized how fun they were to drive too. I have yet to drive a late night shift, but I imagine that's pretty interesting in a college town lol

Welp bad news for those that were hoping for me to flash a tune on their truck, it can't happen.

The tuner software dude changed it so that only owners of the pro version of the software can flash others. And that software is a little more than I can afford.
