Selling like new black Softopper for dcsb tacoma 3rd gen. Both windows are perfectly clear and canvas is also near perfect with no fade. Used for one mammoth trip and realized I can do with just a tonneau. Asking $650

Very true! Softoppers are so versatile and honestly just don’t have dogs, lots of cargo, camping gear etc to use it to its full extent

Had 3 different tonneau, 2 bed racks and softopper is king! For me at least and to each their own! There are days I’d like to try a cap but damn if I don’t ever want to worry about taking it off! Only reason the topper wins!

I’m doing the same shuffling of topper styles. I’ve had roll up tonneau, 2 shells, DB tonneau, Softopper and still trying to figure out the best setup for me

Yeah that’s kinda where I’m at honesty. And then just a tonneau for trips for cargo

BTW, did you say you tried Diamondback hard tonneau too? How does that rank in your order of covers?

Just debating it! My ranking in all honesty is probably tie at the top between Softopper and shell and then second is DB cover. By far the most durable tonneau and super high quality but expensive

I might be willing to make the drive for that….let me talk to my wife and will let you know shortly.

I also have the OEM tonneau I could trade plus cash if you’re interested in trying that.

Sounds good! Just let me know. If you PM me I can give you my number too for better coordinating if the wife gives the go ahead.

and thank you for the offer! I think I’m going to go with a cheap roll up style so that I don’t have to trade out the bed rails for the cut version but thank you for the offer!

Wanna drive it up to Portland, Oregon for me?? I just bought a tri-fold hard tonneau, but after seeing the picture of your truck and reading your rationale, I'm thinking I'll have the opposite problem!

Haha sorry no plans of coming up that way. I do have my best bud in Dallas OR which is enticing but no time to take off work/travel
