I've slowly caught on to Google coincidentally giving me news tailored to what I browse, say, or do on my phone. On the Chrome app homepage, you get news articles that Google tailors to what you might find interesting. Previously, I thought the news was just from searching things on Google but I just had a huge red flag come up. A few days ago I was cooking breakfast and my mansionmate and I were debating on whether to cook eggs in the bacon grease I was cooking, no Google search involved. I just got a recommendation on the news app for the article below -

I can't believe Google gets away with this sh*t in courts of law. How do I completely turn off any and all adaptive news on my iPhone? I don't want Google using my search info, voice info, etc.

These two ( Payette Forward) on You Tube do a lot videos on how to manage apps and behind the scenes functions of both Android and iPhones.

You'll have to turn that off in your Google settings. Settings>Manage your Google Account>Privacy and Personalization. Then go to both Activity Controls and Ad Settings and turn off what you want off.
