Still figuring this out (slow learner). Not only are the liquor stores closed after a certain hour on Sundays, but the liquor part of a grocery store that's still open is off-limits, with a warning and a little privacy skirt. Trader Joe's doesn't have a little skirt but when I just picked up a beer to look at it off the shelf, the stocking clerk behind me yelled "you can't buy that now!" in an unnecessarily loud voice. It felt like looking at dirty magazines in Barnes & Noble or something. Goddamn.

CT is otherwise lovely though. Killer pizza and the taco trucks down by the water are legit. This cool weather is great too.

Yeah, it wasn’t that long ago that you couldn’t buy on a Sunday. CT is nice but that nicety wears off after the first tax bill.

I have 3 Toyotii plus the Tacoma trailer, but refuse to give Greentree any business.
I'll go to Mt. Kisco or Westport first, or Mamaroneck or New Rochelle since I have peeps down that way.

Took the Tundra to the grocery tonight because groceries fit better in an access cab than a regular cab.
It must have been Taco Sunday. I saw about 7 1st gen Taco's & all in great shape but the last one which I think was built from leftovers.

Busy weekend for the truck, picked up some KB voodoo bars and a basket from @Chasespeed by way of @crashngiggles, then gave her a bath just in time for it to rain slightly, and swapped out all of the stock speakers for the kicker upgraded ones! I'm absolutely blown away by how easy these doors come apart and how plug and play crutchfield made it all, it took me maybe 30 minutes to do all 6 and in no hurry! The sound is so much crisper and clear maybe soon I'll add that amp and sub behind the seat but for now it's so much better.

Hey guys, what is everyone doing for undercoating/rust-proofing these days? I know @jpereira2 does the fluid film stuff but I'm looking for something that doesn't stay wet... ideally something that dries and doesn't have to be re-applied. (Context: Buying a vehicle from CA that's live there it's whole life and has zero rust, want to prevent it from rusting in our salt-heavy CT locale)

There is a hardened rubber coating but everyone says that traps moisture and accelerates rotting. Not sure how well it would work, even on a clean frame. My dad had it done to his brandy new trd pro at the dealer last year. Still looks good but I dont know much about stuff other than heresay.

I got everything to spray my stuff with woolwax. Its similar to fluid film, so it requires reapplication; just thicker and is supposed to smell less than fluid film.

Anything that dries won't be self-healing and will be prone to cracks or abrasion leaving moisture/salt access points.
