If you had plans to camp or recreate on USFS land, better check as CalFire posted that they will be closed for the next two weeks at least due to high fire danger.

And fuck. Once they closed the ones up by the Caldor fire I had a feeling more would follow.

 

Yeah, when they closed the 9 northern forests I was thinking why not just close all of them now?

 

They just closed all 18 national forest. but National parks are open?

National and State parks fall under different management then National Forest lands.
I’m sure some more closures are looming in the State level at least.

 

I think I read it as 20 forests but I could be wrong.
