I know a good locksmith, who believe it or not drives a 2011 RC 5-lug…

 

The only person I want to get “boned” by is my girlfriend…

Specifically, I thought it was the Dos Equis guy…

 

I believe keys are purposely made of a softer material than the locks. So as wear happens the key will wear out instead of the lock. Replacing a key is simple. A bit more difficult to replace the locks. What you could do is use one of the not worn out keys, then put the worn one in your hide-a-key. That’ll get you in if you accidentally lock the key inside and it still opens the door.

Sometimes a locksmith can get on the computer, look up a code, and cut a factory new key.

The dealership can cut you a new key from your vin, so you don’t copy a crappy key. No idea on the cost though.

 

I don’t drop my keys in the river; I did accidentally drop them in a dumpster one time when I was throwing out garbage but I got them back (the keychain means more to me than the actual key). That said, unless I lock my keys in the truck they clipped to my belt loop at all times…

Just came home from hanging out with the girlfriend and found out just how cold my free portable A/C can get my bedroom!

 

The backup camera has been working fine for the last couple of days, but then tonight when I came home from my friend’s house, it was totally black…

 

I shut off the truck and restarted it, and if was working fine; Note the time on the clock in both pictures…

 

I wouldn't mind having something like that in my garage
