You had better luck then I did. I pretty much just gave up and let my pre-approval expire. Didn't really like the interactions of that mortgage company anyways. Houses around here are going for way more than they should even if they are a fix'er upper. I don't mind some work, but there was some homes that needed serious work in the 150K range. Yea, noped the f'k outta that mess. I'm not jumping into something I might not like. Where I live is fine except for the commute. Looks like another winter driving over the mountain... There was one house I looked at about 10 minutes from work that was listed for $146K, but needed a good bit of plumbing and electrical. In hindsight I shoulda bought it. I know how to do both. I'll have some things payed off in the Spring so I can expand my budget just a little bit. Also looking into going across the boarder into another state now. Biggest issue with that is retagging the vehicles (and having a front tag, booo) in a certain amount of time to avoid paying sales tax again. The Talon would have to be tagged as historic to avoid the inspection and emissions though...

The amount of garbage houses and failed fixer uppers in the 250k-300k range up here is insane. I found 21 of them in fact! (Saw 22 houses in two weeks) we're happy with the fixer upper we found and we're very much looking forwards to the adventures and challenges it brings.

Bill, figured you and some other people would like to see the old Elva frame we have hanging from the ceiling. It had the BMW 6 cyl motor in it. And when they restored and made a new frame they used the four-cylinder.

You can thank all the DIY/flip house type shows on HGTV. I fix a lot of DIY work performed incorrectly.

Most of what we sell at work is just that… Okay houses and mediocre fixer uppers. Every house we sell usually has a ton of claims and repairs done during the 6 month warranty period that’s included with the purchase.

If only I could score an 040 sport hood without hemorrhaging $1k to have one......and a plain leftover one in the attic. A $200 cash + trade for hood and find a $300 black 6 ft softopper would make my world, lol

Did my 2nd Gen have it’s stock membership revoked when I lifted it? 2/1.5 lift with 265/75/16 tires… literally the same shit getting slapped onto my 3rd Gen.
