Yea the GFC. Damn really? I had something similar to you. Bamf rack and CVT tent, now onto a RCI aluminum rack with CVT. But that GFC just sounds so nice.

oh man, its awesome! Long bed weighs ~275, is what they told me. Dry storage and tent in one? Ill take it. Privacy too! Plus it looks badass. I have no complaints at this time (a week and 3 days of ownership)

I gave up too. I’m not rocket scientist but not a dummy either. Something didn’t make sense so I put the back back in the bed. Realized I like it there better anyway since it won’t rust. I rebuilt it last year after i kept it exposed to the elements on a bed rack.

Anyone have a link for the slider installation instructions? Mobtowns website seems to be down. Also my sliders didn't seem to come with all the hardware needed for install. Trying to piece together what I need at the hardware store. I got the bolt on overland sliders for my 2011 double cab long bed. Can anyone on here tell me how many bolts on each slider is needed for install? It's looking like 6 on each side but I just want to make sure. No clear instructions out there for the overland sliders but would like to use the other instructions as a reference

I don’t have an answer for you since my sliders aren’t the overland type. That being said I would use all grade 8 bolts and fill every hole available. What I don’t know is if there is any other fabricated hardware you’re missing. On the standard sliders there’s a piece or two you don’t have which you’ll need to find out about.

Also. There’s a new thread in this sub forum claiming Mobtown is shutting down their operation. I don’t know how true it is but it’s worth reading for yourself for what it’s worth.

Yeah thanks, I saw that thread also. My sliders look awesome but a bit concerning not knowing if I have all the hardware or having any instructions. That being said, the overland sliders seem much more simple and self explanatory to install than the heavy duty ones but would still be good to make sure I'm doing it right

Here's all the hardware that came with the sliders. Didn't come with any 3/8" nylon nuts but was able to buy some at the hardware store this morning. IMG_8258.HEIC.jpg

One of my biggest pet peeves is items that don't come with directions. No matter how small, or how "obvious" it seems to the manufacturer, a little bit of good directions go a long way in my book.

Do you have any pictures of the sliders themselves? Maybe we can help figure out how to get them mounted up right.

I found this video very useful when I installed mine, but it was annoying not having printed out instructions with illustrations.

What pics do you need? I can get you some from my 2020 with the heavy duty sliders.

Those look the original sliders. The guy who has questions has the overland model which are different.

How did you order? Hopefully you paid with a CC so you have some consumer protections.

Yikes. Debit cards typically don’t have much protection. Get in contact with your bank and see if there’s anything they can do.

This doesn’t mean that they aren’t going to fulfill existing orders, but it would be nice if they would confirm that. Seems like communication has always been an issue with them.

Smells like a Pelfrey situation. @Mobtown Offroad hasnt been on TW since July so I doubt they’re logging on to address the issues mentioned in this thread.
