If I needed resistors for the total tail light upgrade, would I need resistors for these?

I initially liked the clear tails but they almost look too aftermarket. I think the reds win for me. Price, while not pocket change, doesn't seem too out of line considering what the OEM LED headlights run.

I was kind of thinking the same thing.
What bothers me about the red though, is that it is ALL red. If I go that route, I'll may just smoke tint the bottom half to give it a more OEM look.

I've been thinking about LED tail lights due to the fact that not only are they brighter but they illuminate faster than incandescent and those few milliseconds make a world of difference when traffic suddenly stops in front of you on the highway (those who drive I-5 in the seattle area know what I mean...)

Would like to know the price range, even a gut feeling though, for budgeting purposes (e.g. $200'ish or $500'ish)

If you’re asking the price on the new MESO/Morimoto LED taillights, the price is well documented at $650.

Ouch! For replacement tails that are not necessary just cool I guess that puts them out of my budget since I still need a real front bumper and those Apogee rear swing gates when they finish them, but I appreciate you posting the price!

    A growing list of stuff
The big question that I have is are they as bright as the stage 2 lights?

According to Meso, they use a similar style reflector as the OEM LED headlights for the reverse light.

As for the turn signal, while I do hope it is brighter or at least at the same level as the S2 Total Taillights, I feel that it would be dimmer in overall lumens. This is because it has to shine as Amber through a red lense, thus there may be inefficiencies in light output when your target is color accuracy.

    Edit: grammer...

I'll get some in depth pics/review soon.
@Rainoffire is right. You can't compete with a full chrome(and large) reflector bucket with a high output Triton crammed in there. Although these signals will be bright, Stage 2 will def have more intensity(amber).
There's Pros and Cons for both versions... depending on budget, skill level, and overall aesthetics goals. Both are far better than stock and any other "led tail light" offering.

Not sure if you answered this anywhere on TW @MESO but will total tails continue to be offered after these release?

    Nothing major
I saw that comment too, have been checking like 5+ times a day for the past week. No joy.

If you happen to need photos done, I'd like to offer my services. Professional photographer, I'd happily buy them at cost and get you photos, shoot whatever you'd like. Can provide on truck images (including comparison 2021 pro's w/stage 1) as well as white background studio stuff to match both websites (with no stray reflections like Morimoto currently has on their images). Just sayin'.

As much as I love me OGs I can’t wait to grab these! Love the sequential turn.

Definitely a great choice for aftermarket tails. I am in debate on getting a pro for the looks, but i can end up downgrading to an sr5 and just upgrade the tails with these. Now, for some research on nice headlights

I have never done a PREORDER, but in this situation would you guys be open to it? With a project this big(and expensive) it would be nice to know more accurately the QTY and Color combo before finalizing production numbers. Also it would lock in a spot so you wouldn't have to refresh the website 24-7. BTW I am working on more pics, light output specs, cutoff shots, and some better videos.
    Just throwing it out there:cheers:

OG's are nice! But with time comes refinement, and overall evolution. P.S- I spy a BD5;)

    Yes!

Can we please get an expectation reset on approximately when the V5 turn’s and V2 map lights are dropping too?
