    Hi everyone!

As much information as there is on the eibach pro truck lift stage 1 out there, after hours of searching I can’t find a rather black and white response to my questions.

I have a 2018 trd sport DCSB, and have purchased the eibach pro truck kit to replace my readylift 3/2 spacer lift. I love the stance of my truck but it rides like crap and it isn’t very useable off-road. I know the sweet spot is typically the middle notch for the eibach kit but I am curious to hear from the people that have run the top notch for the most lift without massive bumpers on the front. Will the ride be THAT bad? Most people right off the bat just say don’t even bother with the 3rd notch. The ride quality on my spacer lift isn’t the real reason I’m doing away with it I just want to be able to take a trail ride without constantly fearing from my front struts collapsing lol. Will the ride on the top notch of the eibachs be worse than my readylift 3/2? Any input is appreciated. I’m currently going to install on the 2nd / middle notch however my ego is having a hard timing dealing with the idea of losing some half an inch in the front. TIA!

I've had my eibach stage 1 installed for a little over a year now. I had them installed by the folks at Eibach and they used the top clip. Weight-wise, my truck is stock, with the exception of an Uptop Overland roof rack. The ride has been noticeably better than the stock TRD Off-Road Suspension. I have no complaints about the ride-feel of the truck on the eibachs

So you have the full 3 inches in the front? Would you describe the ride as stiff at all? Would you happen to have a picture on hand?

I think I was just shy of 3 inches up front when I first had them installed. it's settled down to about 2.6 after the first month of having them in. I also installed the wheeler's progressive add-a leaf in the back. The ride is not stiff at all. It goes over bumps very well without bottoming out like the stock suspension regularly did

Oh really wow hmmm. I was reading that the 2nd notch is usually just shy of 3 and the top notch is a bit more and settles around 3. You're not running oem springs are you? I didn't think anyone did with this kit considering the kit comes with eibach specific springs, but in my research I've come across a handful of people that ran oem springs.

Nope. I'm running the Eibach springs.

Well that's food for thought, thank you very much for your input. This makes my decision harder lol. Taking the strut out to disassemble and readjust seems like such a daunting task I would love to get it right the first time. Thank you!

I just put this in. I went from 3/2 spacer. I'm on 2nd notch with eibach springs and the 2" block out back still and is level. Front same height as with the spacer. I have no extra weight up front but any more pre load on this spring would be jarring. I wouldn't go above it without extra load in front and back. I just measured hub to fender, my truck is at 24" at all 4 corners, mid hub to fender. Was the same with the spacer lift.

So that is exactly what I'm doing. Leaving the original 2 inch block in the rear for now until I can decide on a proper leaf set up with the eibach kit. I was worried that the front eibachs on the second notch would make me lose some height. That makes me feel a lot better hearing of someone doing the same exact setup I plan to thank you for the input!

    Do you have any pictures?

Top is eibach. Bottom is 3/2 spacer. Closest I have. Both on 285s.

That’s perfect thank you so much for the comparison. I really appreciate it. Makes me more confident in my decision for the 2nd notch with my blocks. Perfect. By the way I love your wheels!!! Haha

    few things here and there.
Did you end up going with the 2nd notch? Curious on how it turned out.
