Glad the lumber prices are back down. Time to stock up on wood like ammo. Haha!

I don't know about now, but all the dealers i visited back in feburary of 2020 were 2-3k below msrp for the same trim tacoma, plus at that time toyota gave a $1,500 rebate.

Don't expect rebates any time soon from any manufacturer. Majority of dealers are not discounting from MSRP or adding a "market value" on top of that. Still looking to hear about any dealer nation wide that is still discounting trucks.

Agreed, this is a bad time right now to be buying a new vehicle if expecting to save any money.

The market is indeed crazy right now. I have a 2017 MGM TRD OffRoad DBL Cab and "accidently" traded-in / -up this past weekend for a 2021 AG TRD OffRoad DBL Cab in south central KY. The only reason I decided to trade was to take advantage of the current above average trade-in values. In 2017, I paid $34xxx for my current truck (Toyota Supplier Discount) which was about $4k under sticker. The new truck sticker was $45,242 with all the bells and whistles that I didn't get on my first (TRD Premium Pkg.(leather, moon roof, etc), advanced tech pkg (MTM, etc.). The dealer would not budge on the MSRP of the new truck and currently, Toyota has suspended the Toyota Supplier Discount, BUT, they did give me $31,500 trade-in value on my 4 year old truck with 45k miles! Even paying MSRP, I still feel like that I got a good deal overall. The new truck is slated to be built this week and delivered in about 3 weeks, but we will see how that works out!

Want a manual transmission P/U? Toyota is really the only game in town unless you want a hopelessly laughably outdated Nissan. If I didn't prefer manual, I'd just go 1/2 ton. Plenty of market competition in that segment.

Toyota is offering a $500 rebate for Military/ active duty/ separated, retired within 2 years and a $500 college graduation offer for some areas. No models were excluded the last time I looked at it. Check to see if it’s in your area.

Not technically a discount but it could help. I think you have to finance through them but not to sure on all the details.

Nearly identical what my 2020 ac sr5 cost me for all the same stuff, and bed lights, plus i assume your's had the power sliding back window standard which mine wasn't when i ordered it. I wanted the factory predator bars instead the dealer installed these bogus aftermarket steel ones. When you say $37,977 assume you mean msrp. Without most of that stuff, that about what my msrp would be around $36,500.

Looks like it's an SR5 2wd. TRD OR with minimal options is probably going to be closer to 39-40k in today's market.

That's pretty expensive SR5 2wd at almost $38K invoice. Even at MSRP a non-optioned TRD OR is hovering at $40k. Invoice should be around or below $38k...Edit: Invoice on a TRD OR.

Nissan doesn't have a manual transmission frontier anymore, only the Gladiator and Tacoma have it.

Just a guess. Ask OP, but yes 4wd sr5 is probably a more accurate estimate.

The DCSB AT 4x4 OR has an MSRP of $37,530 while the SR5 in the same configuration is $35,555.

My local dealer has been advertising below msrp through this entire mess. Unfortunately they are now only about $300 below msrp. I was chatting with them a few months ago and they were about $1,300 below at that time.
