I had a 2016 and it wasn't the worst but my 2021 is definitely better in terms of quality of life improvements and transmission, despite having the reflash done and updated on my 2016. Ended up just driving it in gear selection and it was way better.

I guess you'll be in line for a Fiat truck then. Good luck.

Just so you know... my Taco has towed 2 brand new 2021 Jeeps and several older Jeeps and I have never pulled a Toyota off the trail.

My neighbor had a Dodge Aries K car. He replaced the engine twice, a trans, multiple steering pumps, wheel bearing, tons of electrical, I think he even repainted it. That thing ran forever.

Definitely ambiguous use of the term Quality. It's like reading an old brochure for a Chevy Cobalt bragging about the use of "quality" soft touch plastics in the interior.

In your opinion, what other sports car competes with a C8 Corvette at that price point?

Realistically I never met a Toyota Truck I didn’t like. The same is true for Corvettes. I’ve had a few of each.

This list is like walking into a bar with all top shelf items being old enough to drink and saying "this is a quality bar." The people might suck, the bartender an ass and the chairs have dry rot and the bar top has termites, yet you rated it a quality bar based on top shelf age of scotch and bourbon. There's more to the story but you have to go there a lot to find out if its reliable and dependable.
As far as your example, the price point is the most important metric of the "quality."

Well, there are a ton of sports cars to consider for $120,000. When the warranty runs out on my 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, and I buy something else, I’ll do my due diligence and decide.

The C8 is fine. But GM has had quality issues with fit and finish, the engine, etc. I’m not sure it deserves the quality trophy. Yes, you can easily spend a shit ton more money for a “premium sports car”. It really depends on what you want. Here’s my vette.

Nothing! I can't wait for a few years when all this settles down so I can get one and put a twin turbo setup on it...

I wouldn’t buy a new Corvette either. They hold value like a rock swims.
