Not sure why the doubt, the stock longbed payload capacity is almost 1400lbs.

1000 lbs is no big deal for these trucks if the weight is properly distributed.

Maybe that’s the difference. My short bed with the same setup was disappointing. When I mounted my shell I lost an inch, with an otherwise empty bed.

    My shell was 250 lbs.

All lighting are led, wheels, tires, 5100 lift, pro grill, bed light, seat covers, door sill protectors.
How much of lift does it give you to this current date? 2"? And what size tires you runnin?

How long since you've had that setup? And so I'm assuming you got a full 2" of lift in the rear with that torch aal?

Always wanted to give it a try, but I fear it'll sag to early and sit at 1.5" because really, I'd want 2"-3" of lift in the rear. Though, how is the ride in the rear? Still? Still soft? Firm? Plush? Oh and sorry! What size tires?

Yes, 2" of lift. Since August 14th of this year. It's "slightly" firmer with the AAL and the TRD OEM rear lift kit shocks; as opposed to the Bilstein TRD Offroad shocks (yellow/blue) that came with it before. No sag so far.

I also have Sumo springs in the rear. As a fail safe for heavy loads.

Currently have 265/70R16's. I'll get pizza cutters (255/85R16's) when I wear the current tires out.

Rear height is still the same for me, 2 inches with the overload leaf still installed. Tire size is 285 /70/17.

How do you like the ride with the sumo springs? I believe those are the blue color yeah? So the softest they offer. I definitely plan on picking a set as well! Does it ride on the frame when the bed is empty? And do you actually feel the bump stop when going over dips or cracks and speed bumps at certain speeds? If so how does it feel to you? And do you like them?

From my pic, you can see that I have the 4 layers blue spring. They sat about a quarter of an inch from the frame before I installed my lift kit. Now they sit 2 inches away.
Before I installed the lift kit, I really couldn’t tell they were back there during normal driving and unloaded. I really couldn’t feel them. When loaded; the rear wasn’t as bouncy as before I installed them. I have yet to carry a load in the back since installing the lift kit.
