But fair. You can't have a '76 F-250, mid-80s Chevy, and a '96 Ram. Way different technologies and capabilities. And you know GM, Chrysler, and Ford would not allow for it.

I like the British (Original) version better too, but when you love trucks, the Europeans just are not users of the vehicles like we are in the U.S.

I was sooooooooooooooooooooo hoping for the Toyota to actually be the only one to make it. Slightly rigged as it might have been since I believe I saw a snorkel on the rig.

Instead of letting the blurple chevy run to the finish after the ford and dodge (with only 159K) quit, they should have let the yota make a charge for the win. After all, it did make it through all the obstacles thrown at it without breaking a sweat or having to be towed out of the river. That little toyota was potent and should have won, Plus, the Tundra especially is a 100% american truck. It's built in america for americans, i mean it even races NASCAR.

They need to change the American version of Top Gear, they need some originality. I dont like the way they follow the british version. And those 3 need some personality. :D

I'm so used to hearing shit from domestic owners it doesn't even bother me. It's nothing more than a pissing contest for the ignorant.

Go look at just about any off road video on youtube and read the comments between Chevy, Ford and Dodge owners, the shit they say is absolutely ridiculous.

I watched it also. I think its funny actually. They tried to talk down the Toyota. They knew if they put it in the actual challenge it would of embarassed the hell outta of the big three. That Tacoma was Bad Ass!! Thats exactly why they needed it there to rescue them when they broke!!! :)

For those who are not familiar with TOP GEAR (BBC), The running joke is always the disgrace car. This car is not the POS that you are thinking, rather its the car that no matter what is the best choice. Then the point is the presenters try and play up the other cars / trucks to see if they can even achieve what this Disgrace car is able to. The obstacles and stunts are built around the disgrace car and its capabilities to give a "control" to the test. The point is not to inflame owners of these vehicles, but if you look at it how they are doing the test, then you would be super proud. A great example of this is the africa episode. They are followed by a beetle, that out performs, outlasts, and is more comfortable then all 3 of the choices for the presenters, and in the end they admit defeat of the beetle.

Camper top with racks, Custom fogs behind lower bumper. Interior LED lighting, Rock Lights, Hella 500s with upraged bulbs behind black billet grill, AAL, Front 5100s
Clearly this misunderstanding was brought around by the terrible hosts of the new American version.

The American version of Top Gear is unwatchable and meaningless. I tried for several weeks to watch it thinking that maybe as time went on it would come together but it hasn't. They should have gone with Adam Corolla as one of the hosts as originally planned. Instead they got 3 dumbasses with no on screen presence at all.

It's ironic when they talk about the "import" being shit when the show itself is a cheap import of a good British show.

Don't read into it they are just actors. The fat guy (Rutledge Wood) mentioned in a previous episode he drove a Tundra. (it was the episode he reviewed the Ford Raptor)

On a side note the Hilux in that episode was pretty sweet, I wish they would have showed more of it.
