I had an FS110, it was one of the 4 strokes. I hated it, wound up selling it and buying a Shindaiwa (made by Echo). It's 2 stroke and awesome :D

    Let's assume it's your ignition module.........because you have a new spark plug :D:p It's a known problem.

What oil and oil mix you running? This CAN impact your 2-4 whatever stroke off idle speed........via impact on air/fuel mix (more oil will cause a leaner a/f mix and less oil will cause a tiny richer a/f mix) - so carb adjust if possible.

When it starts to bog down, have you hit the primer bulb to see if the engine increases rpm with the extra fuel? If it does, a fuel line is loose or clogged filter.

On the spark arrestor, take a torch and make sure you burn off any carbon build up, some of those small motors actually need the back pressure.

Like said before on here, throw a new plug in.
Use non ethanol gas or premium gas.
If the list above doesn't solve then adjust carb.

I actually don't care for sthil weed trimmers and I don't like echo chainsaws. But I do like sthil chainsaws and tree saws and echo trimmers. I have owned several over the years.

I've never been a fan of Echo anything and didn't know they made Shindaiwa weedeaters until I bought it. I like my Stihl chainsaws, pole saw, and backpack blower though :D

The ongoing saga of the sticking handbrake on the Gravely ZTXL 52.

    So I contacted Ariens/Gravely. We had a video/still chat.

THEY agreed, warranty issue. Local guys, Carl's Mower and Saw came a picked it up. No charge.

Interesting part: Pick up guy is sharp so we fiddled a bit and figured it out. The seat frame actually contacts the handle! I was not seeing that while seated and it seemed like something so INCREDIBLY STUPID I WOULD NEVER HAVE THOUGHT THIS SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE FACTORY IN 2021.

    Just picked up this project.

    Needs parking brake cable.

Needs exhaust leak found and repaired.

Needs stator or magnets re epoxied to inner flywheel.

Kinda annoyed that the top half of the roll bar is missing.

I thought about your lift table today when this came in. I have to do some welding on it. Not only does it lift but it tilts, and it uses air bags.

    I had mentioned the seat....
I have to watch mine cause it knocks the kill switch every now and then, and that is attached to parking brake, I moved it a little bit put of the way moons ago.

Lifted the farm trailer up, inspected the leafs, it has dual brakes, neither is hooked up, some wires look very short coming out of the housing, not sure if they are even functional at this point. I cut all the old light wiring out, gonna rewire the lights tomorrow with a new plug.

Finished the grinder and small vise stand today.

I either missed or dismissed it..........dummy me. The seat moves side to side more than I thought.

Yep, a bush, a warsher, hell a weld bead......well the dealer will fix it he said, make it good. No charge. He also said he saw this once before.

It’s not mine, it’s for the powder coater across the street from work. He’s going to use it to raise pallets of parts to hang and paint.
