thank you for the input! What do you mean it would need to be rebuilt? This doesn’t sound cheap. Lol

I think Toyota and/or Fox recommends a rebuild every 50k miles but it varies depending on how much wheeling you do. There wasn't anyone or a shop relatively close to me (SC) that completed the rebuild for these so I was going to have to send them into Fox and wait a month or longer to get them back. My truck is my daily so that wasn't going to happen.. However, there's a guy on here now that does the rebuilds for around $100-125 per shock and I think he is in TX so shipping would be extra if you aren't close to him.

    Thanks man!

No spacers needed. I was running highway miles and wheeling with the 285/75/16 Mastercrafts for a solid 6 months with a stock PRO. I only opted to do the CMC as I was intending to put 34s on, but I couldn't resist 35s and have just ended up doing a full widebody long travel setup. But no CMC needed on pros for 33s (for the most part).

**I've got these TRD Pro wheels with the Mastecraft 285/75/16's in Mass if anyone wants them!

285/75/16 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my stock Pro. Zero issues, great look. Just do it! I’m actually in Navarre so if you come this way we can meet and check out for yourself.

Recently took it to Kentucky and Tennessee mountains, cruised it up there doing about 85-90 the majority of the time. Very happy with the results and would not second guess it. I too was concerned about the initial upgrade.

Me again, thought I’d jump back on my old thread to ask this first.

I am moving forward with the Westcott designs front only with 285 wildpeaks. So need a rear lift, I am wanting to move forward with the AAL. My question for the AAL is do I need to purchase the extended U Bolts? Or are the center bolts okay? Sorry if this is a stupid question.. lol much appreciated!

Get the headstrong rear add a leaf with U-bolts. I just installed mine last Saturday.

I have the Westcott in the front and had the Westcott block in the back but swapped it out because I carry quite a few tools.

The headstrong is bolt on, no cutting the clips and it has the threaded hole for the e brake cable. The icons and other which are all rebranded the same do not

Here is a link to them and in the description is a link to a tacomaworld thread

it’s a bit more stiff in the rear than the block but it gives you 1/2 inch more lift. With my tools in its level and rides great. Only been installed 4-5 days so should break in a bit more.

When you place the order, order U-bolts. They come coated which is good

I feel a little disappointed here... the title clearly said you got yourself a PRO, and you needed help! Then you are talking about a truck....:annoyed:

Oops wrong forum... I'll just let myself out:anonymous:

While I am here... Eibach Pro Truck coils... can't go wrong with a replacement spring from the same company that made your original coil springs.

There is a bunch of YT videos from 88 rotors about a front spacer and AAL on TRD Pros to fit 33's. I have a 2018 TRD Pro with almost 100k so when it's time to rebuild the shocks, I'll just upgrade to Fox 2.5 DSCs, AAL, UCA and 33's and keep the stock shocks as backup.

    Work in progress...
I would put the tires you want on there before cutting. I'm a size down with 275/70 17's but I had minor rubbing with the set up I'm running. I was able to solve the problem by just trimming the plastic away from the area you would make the CMC. Nice Taco!

So if he wants to put 37s on his truck, he won’t have to do any more cutting/trimming with stock suspension then he would with a 6 inch lift?

The 6” lift is not what the OP or I was talking about, that kinda lift is a total abortion. OP and my reference was the 0 to 3” suspension on lift, where you are not changing the actual wheel travel, only where the wheel sits at static height within that travel. Many people think the 0 to 3” lifts will allow you to run larger tires and it doesn’t.
