True. But I think most folks would prefer to forfeit wall space over floor space. I know I would.

Finally been on this site long enough to post in here. My bike and my Taco. Got both this summer. First Taco ever, and first MTB I've gotten in 20 years.

Couple of wall hooks from home Depot at less than 10 bucks also work well for this if you have the wall space.

If you google trailer hitch wall mount, there's no better option. I was surprised that Harbor Freight or Amazon didn't have a $20 option available from China.

1up is the way to go even if only using it for regular ball hitch storage.

Other more economical options undoubtedly exist.
But if you're gonna ball out, go full monte right?

Thank you to all who replied on the 1Up. I appreciate it. I’ll only be using a 2 rack system, so should be fine. Really appreciate all the great responses from you all!

    Thank you again!

Well I caved and ordered the parts to convert my gravel bike to a SRAM Eagle AXS drivetrain.
The X01 derailleur came in, but it looks like I’ll have to wait till end of December for the rest of the parts to arrive.

I have been very tempted to do that but I have been running more than I've been riding....

I’ve been running too and I absolutely hate it .
I’ve been alternating between riding the MTB and running while I wait for all the parts to come in for the gravel bike. Crazy how backed up everything is.

I’m pumped to be running 1x without sacrificing much in the top end and having a better climbing gear than my 2x had.

I hurt my shoulder earlier this year and just never really got back to riding haha.

My gravel bike already has apex1 so it would be a simple swap. I definitely like having 1x. I’ve never felt like I need more gearing around here

Nice, I had Shimano 105 so it’s a bit more involved. I think (hope) I ordered all the right stuff haha

they will both consume your life soon.

youll be browsing pinkbike and tacomaworld at work. finding what you want to buy next.

yea you could go to chipotle for lunch, or eat a sandwich for the Nth day in a row so you can upgrade your bike or tires on your truck.

vacation? ill drive and camp instead of fly and get a hotel. thats why i bought a truck right?

gym membership? nah ill go ride my bike and move fallen trees off the trail.

but fuck, theyre both so much fun
