Working in a apartment complex this afternoon. It’s 90% college kids. 2 girls in the apt. 1st they don’t answer the door, so gotta get maintenance to open. 45 min later….they are inside, and said they didn’t hear me banging on the door. After several attempts to get a 1982 wall unit to start, no go. Compressor seized.
The one girl, said “ this is unacceptable and has been broken for a long time “
I said, how long have you lived here?
(Knowing students are moving in this week)
She said since Monday

 

2 days is a long time for them
