Whats the heaviest thing you’ve hauled in the bed?

Wife and I have been shopping for laminate floors nonstop and decided to pull the trigger. I swore the boxes were 20lbs each (I’ve looked at so many options online that I swore that was the number) and I needed 36 of them… turns out they were 44lbs each or 1500+ lbs. it was a 10 mile trip but boy was it weird to see my bed sag. I know I blew the limit but holy cow, learned from that.

Pretty much the same...we were looking for vinyl plank flooring, happened upon something we liked at the Depot on clearance so i bought the 2 pallets they had left. Wasn't really thinking about how heavy that could be and threw all 48 boxes in the bed and cab. Only about 3 miles so wasn't too worried but I was definitely over the limit on that trip.

Probably around 500 lbs,a few cast iron tubs. For a buddy's wedding, he used to fill with beer and ice for the ceremony

Yes, my wife can ride in the cab. She might even drive sometimes!

 

It wasn't in a Tacoma. It was in a '65 F100 back in around '74. Went to pick up a yard of decomposed granite and they just dumped a bucketful into the bed. The front wheels kept bouncing off the ground the entire way home. I was 18 back then and that just made it more fun.
