I was always the last to leave, if I worked just an extra hour or two late I could get more done than I did the entire 12 hours that I was there with the workers there.

 

It’s a 350 Wolverine there was never huge power to lose!

 

I was just saying because the sound my kids Scion makes every time he starts it and drives off is sickening to me. It's dumber than a sack of rocks. Take a mint car with 24k miles and cut both the mufflers off, straight pipes.

To me it sounds like a wanna be pulled over by the local LEO, for being a dip$&!+

 

I know, should cut him some slack but he doesn't listen to a word I say or any advice. I at least took heed to half of what was told me...

A few years ago a kid (with girlfriend) pulled up next to me at a light, I had the 66 Ford station wagon with a 289 and single quiet Flowmaster. He had some broken spring looking 2 door with JC Whitney hood graphics and spoiler, tires sticking out and some rattle and pop exhaust.

Well, the light went green and I said what the heck and put my boot in it a bit, not to the floor. He made lots of noise revving and shifting, so much I couldn't hear my own exhaust. It wasn't even a race. My 50 year old, 4200 pound station just rolled away from him, there wasn't a time he was gaining on me.

I never realized those cars were so s-l-o-w...

Wonder how getting dusted by an old guy in a Lyndon Johnson era station wagon went over with the girlfriend.

I believe mentioning awhile back after replacing that voltage regulator on my quad that it seems to have more power than I recall before. Since new I've replaced the factory belt and that seemed to restore some power but now it runs. 70 mph then it seems like a limiter comes on. It's never since new would quite do 70 I don't believe.
Still something wanky with that voltage draw though. I believe factory ECM

 

Never know..he might have got some sympathy boobage from the girl..
