Do I see Teflon tape on the threads of your union? I think I might pop out my recent install And add some tape to solve my anal paranoia!

Yes sir… the union doesn’t thread in all the way (stock breather was not threaded in all the way either) so I used some tape for the same reason, paranoia lol I’ll be crawling under there for the next few days after driving to just have a look as well.

100%agree>>Union will not thread in all the way and I read that in the first GEN TW post so I was aware before I started. The picture below shows the regular breather threads which is probably not stock on a 20 year old truck but I have no idea.

I am doing the turkey baster suck out and refresh fluid method on my brake fluid and clutch fluid….Minus the turkey baster.

Nothing leaks on my truck so I’m afraid to drain anything (mess around with fittings) and will continue to change out once a week to dilute the old fluids. It’s like a five minute job to do both. Clutch reservoir was filthy dirty and so was the fluid….potentially could be factory stock 20 year old fluid? I do believe I have a stock clutch.

Might do this with power steering fluid down the road.

NPT fitting? Reason I ask is because I’m curious because I notice you are flush with the threads?
