I hunted in Hancock County just across the river from Warsaw a few years back with an outfit.

There’s 4 guys from Pennsylvania that hunt on the property that borders me. Hancock county has some good hunting, I’m in Adams county which borders Hancock to the south. Do you recall the name of the outfitter you hunted with.

Nice. They have a lease out there? The outfitters claim was that they were just north of the "Golden Triangle" but have the same genetics.
It was Shuhart Creek Outfitters. Not sure if they are still around.

Ought to be plenty of fresh tree rubs around now. Mock sparing should commence shortly. Let's watch the neck growth over the next two months. What do you think? 2-1/2 years? 3-1/2?

So much for opening weekend in CA. State just shut down the national forests in the entire state. 20 MILLION acres of public land shut down.:annoyed:

Unbelievable man. Just unreal. They say it’s to limit exposure to people and the amount of possible rescues they could have if more fires break out and people are stuck. That, and fire fighter safety.

With the fires already happening there’s a limited amount of firefighters already so they’re simply shutting stuff down.

Can’t wait to see how they handle this for guys that needed 12+ points to get a zone.

Doesn't seem to be a National forest if a state can shut it down. Sorry about your season.

They’ll probably just give points back. Utah did something similar with spring bear hunts last year.

The forests are shut down from now to mid September at the earliest right?

Maybe the rifle hunters and such will still have a chance.

We’ll see what happens. CA and Utah certainly handle hunting differently, lol.

I’m praying they actually open it on the 17th to give us a shot with the bows still.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Colorado still has areas shut down from last years fires.
