Anyone in need of some FJ parts?
My buddy has a complete OEM roof rack, bug deflector, a pair of pop-out side windows(NIB) and possibly some used Fox suspension(non-resi, doing a suspension swap this weekend). I think he's got a ladder that mounts to the FJ itself also.

Anyone know what skid would come after these two on a 4runner? You can see there are arms for another oem skid but i cant find a diagram anywhere

How difficult is black bear pass? And what's the likelihood of other vehicles being there? It definitely interests me but I definitely don't want to do it alone

my 2 cents, it's all about your comfort driving a narrow road with a big drop. MT makes the first couple of hairpin turns harder but unless your new to driving a clutch not the end of the world.

My experience is usually a bunch running it, there is a turn around area at the point where the trail becomes one way and you could hang out there to gather a group, etc.

This. It's a very easy road with drastic consequences. If you're the kind of person who keeps their cool when things go sideways and saves the freakout for later, there's absolutely no reason you won't be fine. If you're the kind of person who lets go of the steering wheel, covers their eyes and screams if they think they might get in an accident, go ride a roller coaster instead where you don't have to do anything.
Nobody wants to admit to being the second person, but some people are so be honest with yourself.

its just those two for the stock skids, not sure why they have those arms on the back. Maybe they originally planned to do more? This is my wifes stock 2018

    Oops. Not the BS thread.

Anyway, gunsmith would be more appropriate.

yeah stock skids. It seems like they either planned and bailed or do have another skid. The crossbar seems to accept a skid too.

personally i wouldnt mind an additional skid over that section even if it is an oem coke can because itll keep the snow and road grime off stuff.
