You getting out of riding or moving to a different bike?

 

I haven't ridden the bike in almost 2 years. Riding here isn't nearly as good as it was in San Diego, at least not from Tucson. And I don't need to ride to commute like I did in San Diego.

 

It's definitely a lot nicer there to ride.

 

Trying to make an appointment at the urology place just now to get snipped and they are closed Saturday when I am coming down the mountain. god dammit.

 

Rubber band for a couple days and then scissors. Good to go.

Growing up that’s pretty much how we would castrate our goats. Super thick tiny rubber band around their balls till the shriveled up and fell off.

FWIW, I got snipped in Dec 2019. Was about a week of not feeling amazing down there. About six weeks until I could ride mountain bikes, and almost a year before the random mild pinching I would feel every now and then completely went away. However, my right side was somewhat problematic and I mistakenly did it on a Friday afternoon. Go on a Tuesday morning. Lol. My fiancee also helped the doc which was pretty amusing, but she works in the medical field.

Worth it for sure but I was wondering if I was always going to have that random pinching forever. Turns out no.

 

just residual nerves firing, amputees get the same symptoms. Glad to hear it resolved for ya tho

 

For me, 2 days of uncomfortable. The fur growing back and getting super itchy was the worst part. I was back to work in 2 days, doing the dirty after 6 weeks. No issues or anything since then.

 

Good to know. I just am not looking forward to the few hour drive back up while my wife is driving. Hopefully thats the worse of the pain I go through.

 

Its no biggie king, I did it 25 yrs ago and was on my mtn bike 4 days after, no problems, complications or real discomfort at all.

Course I am a mongoloid.

 

Yeah I aint worried. Just got to get down and get it done. Sooner the better.

 

Mine only bothered me for a day and a half. Of course I played it up and the wife waited on me for 4 days.
