I’d like to head back to Walker and not blow a brake line this time…may or may not be an option depending on your mods list

If anyone wants to wheel Saturday I'm free. Walker/Reiter/dunes over on the east side?

Yo! I've been on their FB page for a while now, but only recently joined since I'm buying some 35s for the truck whenever they're back in stock. How was their off road events? I saw some but it looked like just a mud bath for stock vehicles :notsure:

The track is mainly a way to get new people out in a safe environment. People who have little to no offroad experience. Plenty of people come out with a lot of offroad experience, though, just to screw around. It's a fun time no matter what. But if you are looking for hardcore offroading, this ain't it, lol. Our last run out there was horribly dusty, one of the reasons we didn't run last month. The water crossings were empty and the mud was completely dried.

The recovery and winch training is nice for folks, too. And the overall group of people have been great to hang out with.

Me and another volunteer put together an Avants Offroad day trip to Moses Lake that went well. Only one truck had to be trailered home, lol. The two of us are hoping to get another day trip planned in early October... we know where we want to go, just gotta make sure if fits in the schedule of everything else in life and in the club. It'll get posted on FB and on the Events calendar when it's all settled.

If you are curious about anything else, hit me up.

Right, that's what it looked like. But I hate cleaning mud so I'll pass lol. That moses lake trip looked pretty cool though. Last time I played in the dunes was at Sand Lake in OR.

I've run ATVs a couple times at Sand Lake, but i'm not a fan. Too small and crowded. I was one of two trucks outta like 10 that actually showed up on a TacomaWorld trip to Florence dunes... Wasn't too bad.

Moses is fun though, nothing crazy. And it's really not sand like you get on the ocean. it's more like really fine gravel with some Mt. St. Helens ash mixed in. If we do another, should come along!

I thought about hauling our camper over to Moses Lake since my brother goofed and forgot to reserve our camping spots this weekend. Instead thinking of just doing a day trip with the wife and kids somewhere.

I've camped out on the sand there a ton of times. But I always bring over the ATVs. As long as you get a quarter mile south of the power lines it's usually not bad.

Ya I have a road trip to Moab in a week and a half. Don’t want to do anything crazy. I need to get out of here.
