Bring it? Ha. Reusing a Top Hat and monocle…what am I, a philistine?

I had them flown in by private jet from Europe to be ready for my glorious arrival.

Does anyone have any lead on a decent shape taco for less than 20k?

Walked up to get the mail this morning, saw a guy pulled over by the dump entrance (literally my neighbor) and start walking down the road to it. Well, there are people that like to check the streams for fish, and pull treasures from the "still good" pile, so I thought whatever no big deal.

Get to my house and look out the window for him, can't see him all of a sudden. Then I notice he's creeping at my tree line in the woods looking hard. Well its right where my 3 plants are, and I think "Does this guy really have the balls to try to scope my shit while he KNOWS I am home and saw him". So I went out to see what the hell he was doing.

Just mushroom hunting! We have a huuuuge tree that grows hen of the woods like crazy right on the border of the properties. The guy who owns the land the dump leases has previously told me how the tree grows them really well. So this guy told me that this tree is the single best indicator tree in the entire county, and he drove from 3 towns away to come check it! I thought that was pretty cool, and as I hate mushrooms I told him to keep at it and take as many as he can find

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Better start making meth, because pretty much every used Taco on the market right now is going for over original sticker price.

Yeah, it’s a bummer, but not for me. So I’m not the one who needs to start making it!

Great find. My cousin might want to take a look at that. Can anybody sum up all the potential issues I should look out for when he goes to take a look at it?

Frame is the biggest thing, especially if original 2005s had an issue with the motor mount collapsing into the frame on some. 2005 and 2006 also seemed to have a hit or miss issue with the oil pump going out or blowing a headgasket which toyota seemed to fix for 2007 and later, but the oil pump would go between 180k and 220k if its going to go normally

The overhead console temp display likes to stop working, plenty of threads on how to fix it though. Otherwise just routine stuff. My dads 05 had 186k miles when he traded it in last year and he had it since new. My buddy in SC has an 06 with 330k miles and both trucks have only needed routine maintenance

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Mines an '09 and I'd sell it in a heartbeat if I could get around 18K for it.

All I've ever seen under 20K are 5 luggers and rear wheel drive only...
Like this truck that is about $5,000 too expensive..
    https://www.westborotoyota.com/inve...oma-base-rwd-4d-double-cab-5tfjx4cn4ex046184/

Here's the thing...if you do the math, you might save $5K by buying it out of state and driving it home...search for Trucks in poorer economic areas, especially if you can find them outside of rustville...

Tinker with this https://www.edmunds.com/inventory/srp.html?price=*-20000&drivetrain=four wheel drive&inventorytype=used,cpo&make=toyota&model=tacoma&radius=6000

There are only 229 tacomas nation wide under $20K that are 4wd and 4 door/access cab...2008-2018...
