anybody have any experience with these? got some installed on my taco and now rubbing is an issue. i run 315/75/16 and cleared them with ease on the stock uca. when i got the camburgs installed it added a lot of negative caster and i can only get a rotation and a half out of my steering wheel.

just wondering if i should bother trying to adjust them or if the caster is maxed out, then i guess ill have to go another route. thanks in advance, any feedback is appreciated.

Those are the exact ones i got...with the moog joint. pretty much when i got it aligned they moved the wheel to close to the cab, now rubs above the cab mount. im gonna jack up the truck this weekend and try to mess with the caster bolts to adjust it. i just didnt want to get all the way down there and realize they moved them as far forward as they could and id be f***ed. just wanted to see if someone else was running them and if so, now i know they should work.

With stock uca my caster was 1.8 driver side and 2.2 on passenger.
    Now I'm at 3.2 and 3.8

The advice around here regarding UCAs (they can actually make rubbing worse), alignment, lifts (they don’t actually help with rubbing), and tire rub is pretty universally terrible. High caster UCAs achieve that caster by moving the upper ball joint backwards, which reduces clearance at the cab mount. If you had your caster maxed out before installing the UCAs, any alignment you get will have less firewall clearance than you had with the factory UCAs. SPCs might be able to recover clearance that was lost trying to bring camber into spec, but I suspect it will still be a wash.

A lot of the aftermarket UCAs also have worse clearance between the wheel and the control arm itself, which is why they list maximum wheel backspacing. If you’re rubbing on the UCAs, you might need to run wheel spacers to clear them. This will also reduce clearance at the firewall and fender though.

The main reasons to run high caster UCAs are alignment problems and loss of droop travel due to lifts. If you don’t have a huge lift and you want to run the Camburgs, you’ll need to go with a really high caster alignment to minimize tire clearance loss at the firewall. If you have a big lift, you’ll probably need to max out caster at the LCA anyway just to hit factory specs. Either way, adjusting the caster isn’t likely to make much difference if you’re rubbing on the control arm.
