Um. He can't do that. If it passed once, he can't fail it during a reinspect. May be a time limit thing.

My guy had me out in thirty minutes this morning .... Not a single question asked. I'm a proud owner of a 9/22 sticker :D:anonymous:

The view from camp isn't half bad either. I'm surprised this spot is open on a holiday weekend. I actually haven't seen anyone since I left paved road

Damn, look at all this knowledge. I'm glad the inspection shop around the corner from me doesn't give 2 F's about the lack of sway bar, or all the locals with light bars below headlights/in grill, plus one on top of the hood and the third on top of the roof...plus ditch lights, all pass without a blink of the eye.
That said, I'd certainly come up to Staunton for our vehicle inspections at Door Ding Doctor, LLC!!!!!! Also once you're certified, I'd put signage near that other shop, might as well take on all the "Shannon's" out that way!!!!

My local spot told me that they are safety inspectors. They arent there to compare a stock truck with my truck, they don't have one to compare it to. So how are they supposed to know what is and isnt OEM equipment?

You’re awesome Greg. Im thinking about preforming inspections over the phone or by TW pics. Maybe I’ll just pick some random addresses and mail out stickers.

f&^k me.... went to sell the wheels/tires off my old truck (less than 500 miles on the wheel/tire combo) and the potential buyer found 2 gouges in 2 of the tires... the only way it could have happened is the tire installer. I have gone nowhere / hit no curbs in the >10 times I've driven the truck

offered to buy him 2 brand new matching tires, but he wanted a $500 discount AND to buy him $500 worth of new tires.... Naturally, I declined.

would you gents bite the bullet and buy the two brand new tires and try to get $2,000 out of the setup (what I'm asking now)

or would you try to sell for $1500-$1600 and have the new owner deal with the gouged tires?
