    yeah man i hope you enjoy the trip its a cool one . i'm from the Pasadena area and drove cross country to here in PA about 6 months ago

    (now no offense here socal)but...... so cal is a freakin hot mess,the state is damn near broke, unemployment is high as hell and between the gangs shooting anything that moves,the police operating with inpunity and all the illeals running around its just not worth it. after nearly lost everythig in the station fire I packed up the yota and got the hell outta dodge

    thats just my 2cents

    but if you do decide to go here are some good points...

    -very nice weather

    -its a beautiful state to say the least

    -if you are an outdoorsman you have to check out the San Gabriel mountian range and wilderness, the high range is breathtaking to say the least hunting,fishing,trapping etc. not not sure the shape of it now since the fire.

    so good luck, be safe, and don't forget to enjoy yourself.

    Not sure if anyone mentioned it. I've done the trip across I-40 more than once and be realllly careful if traveling at night. The truckers drive crazy fast and are not always completely alert. Have been almost run off the road by them a couple times.

    remember, big rigs are just that, huge. they have blind spots and truckers are on the road constantly so some of them kinda zone out. just watch out for them and always give the ride of way to them. good luck with your trip and have fun in cali

    thanks guys!!!

    On my trip down to Miami (16hr drive) I saw quite a few truckers doing some crazy sheet! They were running people off the roads because they were like DGAF, swerving, swaying, speeding, cutting people off etc.. after that I stay as far away as possible.
