I’ve done some searching and am finding nothing. I’m trying to set up wireless charging in my Taco. Would like to put it in the cubby behind the cup holders. Doesn’t need to mount. Don’t want a dash or vent mount. Would be happy with it just laying on the charger for easy access. Can’t seem to find anything that fits in the cubby. Anyone come up against this and figure it out? Thanks guys and dolls!!

Stick with the Scosche and thanks me later. Works flawless, and comes with a nice daisy chain for easy install. I had the above installed and it did nothing but not charge/charge. Way to glitchy, and in a few days the battery just stopped working. I am sure all the kinks have been worked out and the fit and finish was nice, but not even close to the Scosche.

I had NO problems at all and everything is still working perfectly maybe it’s something in the starting of a new production idea I don’t know ‍ but it’s your choice and which ever you choose Enjoy!

The Scosche website is a bit confusing (or perhaps the product is confusing) in that there’s reference to plates that must be on the back of the phone or case?

I think those are for the magnet part of the mount. I don’t think it has anything to do with the charging.

So it’s typically intended to be installed vertically…explains the raised brackets in the surface. Too bad, I’d want a flat pad.

No. It’s designed to sit in that cubby so that the phone lays flat. The phone is supposed to lay within those tabs.

Works amazing and yes those little magnets help it stay in places better. Old pic but it fits like a glove.
