My favorite part of Saturday is that the better half has to work and I get the whole pot of coffee to myself this morning.

 

Im just mad that I'm spending my holiday weekend restocking the camper with clean linens instead of actually taking it out.

 

but she's only working today, right? Are you able to just do a long overnighter?

We were supposed to go camping with friends this weekend but cancelled plans last minute because I wasn't really feeling it. My birthday weekend was not really relaxing and they're those folks who always come into camp super late (like everyone already in bed and sleeping late). I can't do back to back camping trips that spend more time in the truck than at camp.

 

Nah it's freaking hot. Did a trip two weekends ago, and it's nice to see that the shore power and AC unit still work, but my favorite sites are all about opening up the canvas and boondocking it. First break in the weather, the trailer will be ready to roll.

We played hooky from work and a nice day trip Wednesday. We left the car at home and took the commuter train downtown, then hit every museum we could along with a pub crawl, whistle stop style. That was a blast, but that already blew through this week's entertainment budget and then some. Dallas is freaking expensive.

My sister is in Dallas. Next time just knock on her door and tell her I said you can stay with her. I’m sure she won’t mind.
